The 2nd Edition of the "Manuel Molina" Awards

In the II Edition of the "Manuel Molina" Awards in 2018, three prizes were awarded for a total value of € 2,000.

The winners by modality were: Virginia Gómez, award for the best final degree project of Analysis of gastronomic tourism and web positioning of restaurants with Michelin stars in Spain; Patricia Cortés award for the best final Master's in Tourism Management and Planning project of Analysis of the effects of eWon and its management in independent hotels in Andalusia;  and Julia Martín award for the best Master's in E-tourism project of Analysis and design of a tourist mobile application based on gamification and augmented reality.

The jury of the awards selected the winners from among more than a dozen applications received, having especially valued those whose subject matter referred to the application of technology in the tourism sector. The event was attended by Víctor Muñoz, vice-rector for strategic projects, Antonio Guevara, dean of the Faculty of Tourism, and Antonio Roldán, representative of TSS-Group, who agreed that these awards represent one of the strategic lines of the chair to value and give prestige to graduates in tourism, in addition to serving as a tool for approchement and knowledge transfer between university, business and society..
